Eng. Amgad Al-Ahmady Mohamed, Chairman and CEO of Egyptian Projects Operation and Maintenance (EPROM), said that EPROM Company has successfully completed the project of replacement of Both the Waste Heat Boiler (WHB) and Process Gas Cooler (PGC) for the Egyptian Fertilizers Company (EFC) at Ain-El Sokhna, Suez. The scope of the work was as follows, lifting and dismantling of old equipment, and installing of new equipment, Connecting and welding all piping with new equipment as well as all scaffolding works and thermal insulation for the new equipment.
Chairman & CEO confirmed the completion of the two Jobs as per Client Major Turnaround Master Plan. Both Jobs were completed during July and August 2017 according to Highest Levels of Standards, Quality & Safety manner that met all Clients’ requirements & needs.
Eng. Yehia Abdelkader, Chairman Assistant for Maintenance & Inspection of EPROM and Project Director, stated that the two Equipment Waste Heat Boiler (WHB) weight is 55 tons and Process Gas Cooler) weight is 80 tons, and project’s activities were competed as per international Codes & Standards for such jobs, Also he appreciates the team efforts since the preparation and the planning phase “January 2017” of such project till.
