The Static Equipment Engineer is responsible for carrying out all Static Equipment activities during normal operation in collaboration with the project O&M management team.The Static Equipment Engineer provides technical assurance overview and support for Static equipment systems and documentation to ensure safe, reliable, and cost effective operation and maintenance.
1-Maintain plant conditions within safe operating limits.
2- Maintain plant conditions within environmental limits.
3- Complete checks and tests for start-up.
4- Achieve normal operating conditions after start-up.
5- Ensure compliance with company quality management policies.
6-Have knowledge for Metallurgy and Material selection background along with corrosion and failure mechanism in oil & gas and petrochemical plants.
7- Familiar with International codes & standards like ASME, API, ASTM, ANSI.
8-Good knowledge of welding procedures, welding qualifications, None Destructive Testing, according to the ASME Code.
9- Possess basic project management and risk management skills with strong communication and organizational skills.
10- Highly developed language skills in written and spoken Arabic and English.
Knowledge or Experience in the following areas is desirable
1- Metallurgy and Material selection background along with corrosion and failure mechanism in oil & gas, fertilizer and petrochemical plants.
2- Familiar with International codes & standards like ASME, API, ASTM, ANSI.
3- Good knowledge of welding procedures, welding qualifications, None Destructive Testing, according to the ASME Code.
4- Possess basic project management and risk management skills with strong communication and organizational skills.
5- Highly developed language skills in written and spoken Arabic and English.
1- Extensive knowledge in Maintaining Tank farms.
2- Utilize Microsoft office software, including email.
3- Maintain plant conditions within safe operating and environmental limits.
4- Able to communicate in English written and spoken.
5- Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering.
6- Minimum 6 – 9 years of experience in similar position in oil and gas industry.
